Mary Andreolli is co-founder, senior multimedia designer and educational content developer for Tumbuh Global and The School of Global Citizenry. She is also the founder and executive director of the Kranky Thumb Collective, whose mission is to empower individuals to rediscover meaning making in their lives by re-defining their relationships with screened devices and social media. 
Mary is a passionate visual storyteller specializing in motion media design, video production, illustration, Unreal Engine 5.x, AR, and AI. She has more than 15 years of professional visual communications experience working with government contractors, nonprofits, corporations, and faith-based institutions. Mary's platform of choice for building and experimenting with new media and video art is Epic Game’s Unreal Engine. She worked at Epic focused on software quality assurance of the ICVFX virtual production workflow for the Unreal Engine 5.0 release.
With animated films previewed at the 2022 TEDinArabic Conference, the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize Virtual Summit, and reshared regularly by Adobe Aero on Instagram, Mary possesses a relentless commitment to reimagining humanity's relationship with nature and technology for the sake of the world. 
Mary created, produced, and hosted Every Day GraceTV for the North Carolina United Methodist Church (NCCUMC), which is available on YouTube and Roku. She was also awarded a DeRose-Hinkhouse Memorial Award for excellence in religious communications and public relations.
Mary earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div) from Wake Forest University in North Carolina, a Master’s certificate from the Center for Cartoon Studies in Vermont, and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Motion Media Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, Georgia. Her MFA master’s thesis focused on exploring an aesthetic of the spiritual through motion media design using forms and patterns found in nature. Her master's thesis project was designed and developed using Epic's Unreal Engine 4.x.
Mary is a CEU-certified online instructor at the School of Global Citizenry, has traveled to more than 40 countries around the world, and lived abroad for 6 years in five different countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Greece, and Albania).
